D23 Mary Blair "Alice in Wonderland" Set

This wonderful maquette of Alice in Wonderland just arrived from the D23 boutique on Disneystore.com. It's a limited edition of 500 pieces sculpted by master Ken Melton.

This particular edition is available for the members of the D23 only and features a colors variation compared to the standard one. There are only 75 pieces of it, and I've got number 59/75!

I am D23!!!

I'd like to share with you my joy for having just received the first issue of D23, the brand new magazine from and about the Walt Disney Company, especially designed for all Disney fans!!! The magazine is called D23 as the company was founded in 1923. The subjects of the first issue go from behind the scenes looks at theme parks to previews of live action and animated movies premiering in the following months. Together with the magazine, I received a personal ID card with the membership number, an official certificate and a gift from the Disney archives, a print of Mickey Mouse with its own certificate of authenticity (I'll post it in the following days).

Volevo condividere con gli amici di questo blog la mia gioia per aver ricevuto il primo numero della nuova rivista ufficiale della Walt Disney Company dedicata ai fans!!! La rivista si chiama Disney Twenty-Three (il 1923 è l'anno in cui è stata fondata la company). Gli argomenti trattati sono diversi e toccano le varie divisioni della Disney (lungometraggi animati, film dal vivo, parchi a tema, etc.). Chi si iscrive riceve, oltre alla rivista (4 uscite in un anno), una carta personalizzata con nome e numero di membro, un certificato con il proprio nome che attesta l'iscrizione, ed un regalo dagli archivi della Disney ovvero una stampa con Topolino con certificato di autenticità (la vedrete in un altro post più avanti.)
